You can secure the event-themed Stickers in a variety of different ways, like spinning PokeStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.

Pikachu wearing a party top hat, Hoothoot wearing a New Year’s outfit, and Wurmple wearing a party hat all have an increased chance of appearing in Wild Encounters while the New Year’s 2023 Event is live. All three of these Costumed Pokemon can spawn shiny!
