Mario Strikers: Battle League Update: Release Date
Mario Strikers: Battle League’s first free update goes live July 22, 2022 at 2am BST.
New Character: Daisy Stats
- Strength: 13/25
- Speed: 9/25
- Shooting: 10/25
- Passing: 13/25
- Technique: 18/25
On paper, Daisy comes out of the gate as one of, if not the strongest, character in Mario Strikers: Battle League.
Sporting 18 Technique, Daisy’s shots will bend and curve around opponents, with lethal accuracy. Daisy’s absurd Technique combined with her decent Shooting and Passing stats make her an offensive powerhouse.
Perhaps best of all, Daisy’s relatively high Strength stat will prevent anyone but the biggest of brutes from knocking her down. Daisy’s a bit slow with no Gear on, but you can always tack on some + Speed Gear if you feel the need.
New Character: Shy Guy Stats
- Strength: 13/25
- Speed: 12/25
- Shooting: 13/25
- Passing: 13/25
- Technique: 12/25
Shy Guy is the most all-around balanced character in Mario Strikers. While he does not excel in any stat category, he’s got at least 12 points in every statistic.
Thanks to his balanced stats, Shy Guy is a tinkerer’s dream. With Gear, you can design Shy Guy to shine in any role.
New Gear: Knight
The new update also introduces a new Gear selection: Knight. Knight Gear offers +2 Strength and +1 Shooting and Passing. On the flipside, equipping Knight Gear will subtract two points from the user’s Speed and Technique.
This unique batch of Gear should offer even more options when it comes to how you build your roster.
Mario Strikers: Battle League Update: New Stadium – Desert Ruin
Along with Daisy, Shy Guy, and Knight Gear, the new update will bring with it the Desert Ruin stadium. This brand-new stadium comes in multiple variations and can be used for Quick Matches or set as your Club Stadium.
Remember, this is only the first Mario Strikers: Battle League update of many to come. With Daisy, and Shy Guy showing their faces already, the future is bright for Mario’s latest sports title.
