The second wave of DLC courses for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe goes live on August 4, 2022.

To unlock the eight courses in Wave 2, you’ll need to shell out £22.49 / $24.99 and grab the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLC in the Nintendo eShop or My Nintendo Store. Alternatively, anyone with a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership can nab the Booster Course Pass at no additional cost.
If you get it right now, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pack will grant you access to the eight courses in Wave 2 AND all the courses from Wave 1, which are already available. Wave 1 features eight more tracks, including Wii Coconut Mall, N64 Choco Mountain, 3DS Toad Circuit, DS Shroom Ridge and GBA Sky Garden, together with Ninja Hideaway, Paris Promenade, and Tokyo Blur from Mario Kart Tour.
And that’s not all! When it’s all said and done, the Booster Course Pass DLC will add 48 courses to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe experience. These DLC courses are scheduled to drop in six separate waves featuring eight courses each, all to be released by the end of 2023.

Wii Mushroom Gorge – There could not be a more appropriate name for this course from Mario Kart Wii. Mushroom Gorge’s massive mushrooms aren’t purely for aesthetic purposes either, as you’ll need to bounce across them to avoid falling to your demise.
Sky-High Sundae – Last but not least, Sky-High Sundae is a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe original. Experience the debut of Sky-High Sundae and race through a course filled with larger-than-life desserts.
