Those who pre-ordered Fallout 4 on PS4 digitally can now go ahead and start downloading that bad boy ahead of the game’s full release on November 10th. The initial download size is 4.5GB, but you can bet your bottom bottle cap that the full download size will be much larger. In fact, it’s around 32.6GB larger which brings the total size to around 37GB. European players can expect that to be a little higher due to the amount of languages added.
Bear in mind that there’s also a sizeable day one patch to download and install which will you run you around 500MB of hard drive space. Better make sure you’ve got room on the PS4 hard drive, then. Meanwhile, Xbox One players who pre-ordered Fallout 4 digitally have been able to pre-load for a while now.
If you need some time off school, work or whatever else you normally do with your days, Bethesda’s Pete Hines has written you a letter to hand to the relevant people. It’s worth a shot, right?
I figure some of you might need a note from your doctor for your upcoming “sick day(s)” this week. So here you go. pic.twitter.com/iF9btGJl3h
