The Yiga Armour in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a set of clothing that increases Link’s stealth.
But that’s not the best thing – wearing all three parts of the set will let you impersonate a Yiga clan member, with some hilarious reactions from NPCs.
Here’s where you can find the Yiga armour in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, including the locations for the Yiga Chest Piece, Yiga Tights, and Yiga Mask.
Where to find the Yiga Mask in Zelda: TOTK
The Yiga mask is the first part of the armour you should pick up. Not only is it the closest to the starting area, but it’s also the most stylish.
Two Yiga clan members are hiding out in a cabin northwest of Lake Hylia. Use the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower to glide to (-0800, -2253, 0086), near the Temple of Time Ruins.
Navigate (or just glide over) the spikey fences and knock on the door. After a bit of dialogue, the fight will start.
You’ll need to take on two Yiga – one grunt and one boss. We recommend using arrows to stun the smaller one, whilst disarming the bigger one with a two-handed weapon of your own.
Once they’re defeated, head inside the cabin to talk to a tailor who will give you the Yiga mask.
Where to find the Yiga Armor Chest Piece in Zelda: TOTK
The Yiga Chest Piece can be found hiding in the Depths of the East Akkala Plains.
Fly from the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower to the coordinates (3986, 2154, 0022) and descend into the Chasm. Activate the Akinatanis Lightroot to help visibility, then head northeast towards the Ui-ihcoj Lightroot, taking out any enemies that spring out at you.
The Yiga Clan hideout is hiding beyond a lake. Either climb the path to the right or swim across. Either way, we recommend cooking up some stamina-increasing elixirs. Use Ascend under the monolith to teleport right into the hideout.
Once you make it, there will be two Yiga members to fight, the same as before.
Remember, Yiga fights are a great chance to farm some arrows.
Chat to the tailor in the hideout and you’ll get the Yiga Armor.
Where to find the Yiga Tights in Zelda: TOTK
The final piece of the set, the Yiga Tights, is waiting for you in the Yiga Clan Maritta Branch.
Head over to the Aldor Foothills, southeast of Snowfield Stable. You’re looking for a cave, specifically the coordinates (-0643, 2032, 0158).
The final two Yiga clan members will greet you, and you’ll take them down with ease. But wait, there’s no tailor here?
Head towards the table of ingredients and look up. The two Yiga Clan members have stashed the tailor away in a secret room, which you can break into easily with Ascend.
The tailor, thankful to be rescued, will give Link the Yiga Tights.
And that’s every piece of the Yiga Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! Improved stealth can come in super handy when you’re taking on groups of monsters. Pro tip – pair the Yiga armour with an Improved Sneakstrike weapon to deal out some serious damage.
If you upgrade all these pieces twice at a Great Fairy Fountain and wear them together, you’ll get a useful Night Speed Up set bonus.
