Far Cry 4 released earlier this year to somewhat mixed reviews (we loved it though,) and since then there has been speculation surrounding the multiple endings that you can achieve in the game.
First off, if you’ve yet to play Far Cry 4 then look away now as I don’t want to be the guy who ruins it for you. Go away. Look at this instead.
For those who have actually played the game then you’ll know that there are some choices to be made throughout the game, the first of which can end the game in just over 15 minutes, the gives you the choice to kill Pagan Min or let him flee.
Regardless of your choices, Ubisoft actually had big plans for the alternate ending. According to Far Cry 4’s Alex Hutchinson there was originally a plan in place to release a huge DLC to supplement the alternate ending. When asked by a Far Cry 4 if there is to be a DLC focusing on the alternate endings, Hutchinson replied “would love to do it and it was in the original plan but sadly no.”
Not all hope is lost though, because a day later when asked if there would be a DLC where players could join Pagan Min in the fight against Golden Path he replied with “would love to do it but unlikely at the moment!”

PSN on the mend, still some issues.
So is there a chance that we’ll see some sort of story DLC for Far Cry 4? Could we, the players, be joining forces with the deplorable yet charismatic Pagan Min? Maybe, maybe not. We’ll just have to wait and see.
If you’ve still not played Far Cry 4 (you shouldn’t even be reading this in that case) then you can pick it up for cheap from Amazon UK.
