Rock your way to Odin’s table
Wanadev Studio has announced that Ragnarock will be getting its first paid DLC pack tomorrow, March 17th, adding six new tracks from the power metal rockers, Gloryhammer. Suitably, the DLC is called the Gloryhammer RAID pack, because it’s packed with Gloryhammer tunes. It’s in the name…
In addition to six new bangers to smash away at, there’s a unique new collectable Hammer, the “Hammer of Glory” which is unlocked by completing all of the new RAID tracks.
Ragnarock is a VR rhythm game not unlike Guitar Hero or Rock Band, except instead of strumming away on creaky plastic peripherals or pissing the neighbours off by smashing those rubbery drum pads, you use your controllers to smash down Viking hammers on symbals that move towards the player.
This is just the start of Ragnarock’s 2022, as the developer is working on new content in the form of more RAIDs with more songs, as well as regular free content. Expect the big paid DLC RAID packs to be dedicated collaborations with heavy metal bands.
While Ragnarock is strictly PCVR and Meta Quest at the moment, PSVR players should take note that the developer is working on a PSVR port of the game, though there’s no release window or any other information at this time.
