Speculation hats at the ready, because Sony has gone and filed a trademark for something called ‘Bound’. According to a recent trademark filed with the USPTO, Bound is video game software and that’s about it. The authority notes that it is identified as: “Operating a real-time game for others over global and local area computer networks.”
Going off that alone, it wouldn’t be the stupidest thing to assume that Bounds is an online multiplayer game of sorts and that it’s more than likely to be a PS4 game. There’s no sense in Sony investing in any new software for the aging PS3, and as far as Sony is concerned, the PS Vita isn’t worth investing in. Since the trademark has only recently been filed it’s unlikely that we’ll hear of anything soon. Still, always good to be in the loop, isn’t it?
