A new Unplugged Air Guitar Riff Pack has been announced and includes tracks from Gossip, Muse, Rob Zombie and Slayer for the VR air guitar rockstar simulator. The new DLC ‘Riff Pack’ is the first expansion for publisher Vertigo Games and developer Anotherway’s VR music game and opens the arena gates for an expanded setlist in the future. Tracks included in the new Riff Pack are:
- Gossip – ‘’Standing in the Way of Control’’
- Muse – ‘’Won’t Stand Down’’
- Rob Zombie – ‘’Crow Killer Blues’’
- Slayer – ‘’South of Heaven’’
The Unplugged Air Guitar Riff Pack featuring the four new tracks will be available on 14th April on Meta Quest and PC VR (Valve Index Controller compatible headsets only) for an MSRP of $5.99.
The new Riff Pack builds upon Unplugged’s original 20+ tracks that includes music from The Offspring, Weezer & Ozzy Osbourne. Produced by the lead guitarist behind Guitar Hero, Unplugged offers immersive air guitar play for wannabe rockers, allowing players to strum and shred along to world-famous rock songs using hand-tracking technology.
Unplugged was well received upon release, even headbanging its way to winning ‘Game of the Year 2021’, Best Quest Hand-tracking Game’ and ‘Most innovative Design’ from Upload VR.
This Unplugged Air Guitar Riff Pack announcement follows Anotherway’s inclusion of a limited time only ‘air triangle mode‘ that allowed VR rockstars to put down their mighty musical axes for the humble air triangle for April Fools Day.
