Ubisoft has come under fire in recent years due to their apparent “milking” of the Assassin’s Creed franchise along with botched launches of big-name titles.
There is a point to be made – Assassin’s Creed: Unity was a mess when it launched last year on PS4, Xbox One and PC, not to mention that it was the fifth release in as many years.
Ubisoft seem to be taking fan-feedback on-board, though, as the firm looks to reinvigorate the ailing franchise with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. It’s being developed by a different studio (though contributions from numerous other Ubi-studios is expected,) and Ubisoft is actively trying to figure out what makes gamers tick.
A new survey published by the firm asks numerous questions about players habit e.g What platform do you play on? What do you think of the series; has it gotten better or worse?
The survey also presents a list of other popular open-world titles such as Batman: Arkham Origins, The Witcher 3, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and so on.
We’re also offered the chance to give direct feedback on the franchise and suggest what could be done to improve it going forward. If you’re interested in giving some constructive criticism to Ubisoft, you can do so here. Just try and keep the language… civil.
