Is Need For Speed: Unbound On Nintendo Switch?
If you’ve been following the limited gameplay released, you’ll know that Need for Speed: Unbound is going for a more cartoony art style, with some colourful visuals and a unique aesthetic to compliment it all. With this being said, it all sounds perfect for the Nintendo Switch.
Currently, Need for Speed: Unbound is a current-gen only title, meaning it’s launched on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. As a result, the game is not available on Nintendo Switch at the time of writing. It’s unfortunate, but that’s not to say the game will never come to the system
It’s not unheard of to see graphically demanding games on the Nintendo Switch. The Witcher 3 downscaled its engine to fit onto the system and runs perfectly fine. However, the more logical solution to Need for Speed: Unbound coming to Nintendo Switch would be via a Cloud-only version, which means it would need to be streamed to be played.
