Ubisoft, publisher of the PS Vita exclusive Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation has recently revealed in an interview with GameIndustry.biz that the sales figures were satisfactory and that the company is happy with how the game is performing.
“For now we are super happy with the first results we have got on the Vita, it is the biggest launch for week one for 2012, and it’s the first Vita product for this end of the year” said Geoffroy Sardin, Ubisoft’s marketing officer.
Hopefully this means the PS Vita will be getting a sequel to the brilliant Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. The general opinion of those who have played both the handheld iteration and the full console release of Assassin’s Creed III is that Aveline is the better character. Maybe we will see her take the place of the lead character in Assassin’s Creed 4, or maybe she will remain on the handhelds and continue her story there. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
