October may seem like a while away, but in reality it’s only a few shorts weeks away. Once the tenth month of the year does turn up, PS4, PS3 and PS Vita owners will be once again treated to some free games as part of the PlayStation Plus program.
We’ve no idea as to what the full line-up will be for October, but we do know at least one of the games that will be given out as a freebie: Super Meat Boy from Team Meat.
The official PlayStation website has given the hard-as-nails platformer a release date of October 6th – the same week as October’s PlayStation Plus update.
The developers of Super Meat Boy previously stated that the game would be free on PS4 and PS Vita via PlayStation Plus. It’s not bad for a freebie, either, but does induce some gamer-rage. Seriously, it’s bloody difficult.
Super Meat Boy is only available on PC and Xbox 360 for now, but come October 6th, many more meat boy’s will be slain.
