German Call of Duty players have had it rough in the past due to Germany’s ratings board being a little bit stricter than most, especially when it comes to gore, violence and Nazis.
Thankfully, Black Ops III will release in the country without being butchered to appease the USK, Activision has announced.
Germany is quite a popular country for Call of Duty to sell in, so it’s in Activision’s best interest to make sure players can get the true experience, gore n’ all.
It’ll be fully localised, but for German’s looking to improve their English by means of video games rather than browsing 9gag, it’ll also come with the option to play the game in its original form. Gut, ja?
Activision has also published a new trailer for the game, specifically aimed at getting the game’s campaign mode a bit of attention. PS3 and Xbox 360 players need not watch it as Activision announced a few days ago that the last-gen versions of Black Ops III will only have zombies and multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III releases on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this November 6th. You can pre-order your copy from Amazon here.
