This one’s come a bit out of left field, but it’s good news all the same for those that still boot up Killzone: Mercenary on the PS Vita.
Guerrilla Cambridge’s Killzone: Mercenary is arguably the best first-person shooter available for the platform, so it’s nice to see that, despite having moved onto PlayStation VR with RIGS, the studio is still finding some time to push out an update for the title.
Unfortunately it’s not a massive update, and in all honesty, we can’t really see what’s improved. It’s a general stability patch, so there’s nothing really outstanding on show. Still, it’s good to see that Sony’s first-party studios haven’t completely abandoned the platform.
It’s not a massive download, either, as it only takes up an additional 8.5MB of memory card space.
Still kicking around in Killzone: Mercenary, or has your PS Vita been resigned to remote play and PlayStation Now?
