In Vampire Survivors, you can evolve the normal weapon Garlic into Soul Eater by leveling Garlic to Level 8 while having the passive item Pummarola.

Once the weapon is leveled up and you have Pummarola handy, try surviving for ten minutes to summon a boss-type enemy.
Defeat the boss and open the chest to obtain the evolved version of Garlic, the Soul Eater.
As an improved version of Garlic, the Soul Eater offers an increased AoE, more damage, more knockback, and vulnerability to the Freeze status effect.
The Soul Eater even has a chance to generate little hearts that heal players by +1 HP. Moreover, with every 60 HP healed, players gain a +1 damage boost capped at +60.
