There’s a new PS4 update going live at some point today. Instead of the usual stability updates that take place between big, meaningful updates, 3.10 will actually bring stuff worth looking at – depending on how you feel about stickers and verified accounts.
The new update allows PS4 owners to follow ‘verified’ developer accounts – a bit like how you follow The Killers, James Blunt and Taylor Swift on Twitter.
There’s also new stickers, for people who are into using pictures to communicate rather than the actual written language. Helpful when arguing online with some one who doesn’t speak English…
The official notes read:
Main Features in version 3.10 update:
- You can now follow verified accounts of game studios and developers in Profile, What’s New and Friends. When you follow accounts, you can keep track of their activities in What’s New.
- New stickers have been added to messages.
The update is live now and will take a toll of 250.4MB of hard drive space on your console. There’s not a great deal left to say about it to be honest, but it’s nice to see updates coming on a regular basis.
