Over on the PlayStation Blog the Community Content Manager, Travis Barbour, for Io-Interactive has provided us with a further glimpse into the world of the new Hitman. The new location shown off is Sapienza in Italy, and we must say it looks stunning, in fact so stunning we’d like to drop everything and grab the next flight out there if it wasn’t for the strange barcoded-bald-man killing everyone.
Anyway trailers should speak for themselves, but we’ll tell you a little something about it regardless of that fact. Firstly the trailer achieves two main things: it shows off a new location, and it shows off three methods for approaching your target. There’s the hand-to-hand approach, the long range sniping approach, and lastly the clever use of disguises. You’ll probably also notice that the music in the background is not the stereotypical video game trailer dubstep, but what we’re most impressed by is those slow motion tie physics, probably the best tie physics we’ve seen in a game.
Hitman will launch on March 11th 2016, or at least part of it will, across PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can buy the game’s initial content for $34.99 or you can buy the whole game, parts of it will be released as add-ons post-launch, for $59.99, but you can read more about that here. For now sit back, enjoy the trailer, and welcome to Sapienza.
