Well the title pretty much sums up this one, but let’s dig into it a little bit anyway. Those of you with a subscription to EA Access can play ten hours of the new Need for Speed game right now for free, the game doesn’t even come out on Xbox One or PS4 until November 5th, although PC players will be waiting until early 2016.
You’re probably thinking that this will be a glorified demo with just three cars and a quarter of the map, well that’s certainly not the case – in fact it’s the opposite. This will be ten unrestricted hours of gameplay, in other words Access members get the full game, with no restrictions, for a full ten hours. The other nice thing is all progress made within the ten hours will carry over to the full game. Not a bad deal at all, in fact if The Cabin had a decent internet connection all the way out here in the woods we might even take NFS for a spin.
EA Access’ price is what really sweetens the deal. It’s just £3.99 for a month, or £19.99 for a year and you’re treated to a whole host of EA games including Battlefield: Hardline. Best of all if you haven’t subscribed to Access before you can get yourself a whole month for free, you’ll even get some form of early access to Star Wars: Battlefront. The only catch is EA Access is exclusively available on Xbox One, sorry PlayStation and PC fans, although you guys could always check out the games trophies right here to cheer yourselves up.
