Earlier today Chris wrote about The Walking Dead: Season 2 and Magicka 2 being heavily rumoured as two of November’s PS Plus games (in fact so heavily rumoured that he included a leaked screenshot in his article). Well Sony have now confirmed, via the trailer at the bottom of this article, that these two games are in fact coming to PS Plus this November.
The Walking Dead: Season 2 is, as you probably know by now, the sequel to Telltale Game’s award winning The Walking Dead. The story picks up where Season 1 ended, but due to it being such a story driven game we won’t go into detail on the story here for fear of spoiling something. However Season 2 does seem like an odd choice of game for PS Plus considering the choices you made in the first season carry over, with that in mind it’s worth noting that Season 1 is currently on offer in PSN’s Halloween sale although you should probably wait until the rest of Novembers PS Plus line-up has been announced before you purchase it.
Then there’s Magicka 2, which is an action-adventure game developed by Pieces Interactive and published by Paradox Interactive. In Magicka you’ll be able to take on evil with up to three friends in co-op, but be warned friendly fire cannot be turned off – oh the shenanigans that could lead too.
Hopefully we’ll be able to tell you what the other four games for November will be pretty soon, but in the mean time you can check out the trailer for the two announced games below. Let us know if you’re happy with November’s line-up so far and what else you’d like to see in it in the comments.
