Dark Souls 3 has been confirmed, that much we know. We also know it’s coming to next-gen consoles and PC. What we don’t know is when it’s coming out. Or at least we didn’t, but now it seems we may have a release date.
Online gaming specialist geekaygames.com has listed two different special edition’s for the upcoming soul crusher: the Prestige Edition and the Collector’s Edition. Both edition’s will cost more than the standard edition and each comes with its own set of extras and goodies. Something to keep the geeks happy, then.
The marketing material also has a big ol’ release date slapped across it: April 12th. It’s not clear yet whether this is the release date, but it’s all over the marketing stuff that we assume was sent by Bandai Namco’s marketing lot, so there’s a fair chance we’ll see it around that date. You can see what’s included in both editions in the pictures below.
Dark Souls 3 is available to pre-order via Amazon who also expect the game to release in April.
