Fans of Gravity Rush were absolutely tampin’ when Sony announced that the remastered edition of game for PS4 will only be available in North America as a digital download. There wasn’t much reason behind it being a digital release, but fans weren’t happy. It looks like that backlash has finally convinced Sony to pull its socks up and release the game via traditional means as Amazon US has listed the game on its shopping website.
The remaster will cost $29.99, so it’s not going to be much of a price difference between the digital version anyway. For fans of boxes and keeping their games in a neat, alphabetical (or chronological…) order, this will go down as a victory.
Gravity Rush Remastered is a reworking of the former PS Vita exclusive Gravity Rush. The game will ship with updated graphics and reworked controls to make the most of the DualShock 4’s interface. The original was a real corker on the Vita, so we’re fully expecting this remaster to be a decent game when it releases on February 9th, 2016.
