This game is a dream for Harry Potter fans around the world, but does Hogwarts Legacy have multiplayer, letting you explore the castle with your friends? Being able to solve puzzles with a pal and engage in intense battles alongside them sounds like a blast. So then, the question arises: does Hogwarts Legacy have multiplayer or is it just a single-person experience?

Will Hogwarts Legacy Have Multiplayer?
At the time of writing, there is no multiplayer mode within Hogwarts Legacy, and it’s definitely not an MMO like World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV. Instead, it’s a purely single-player experience, in which you meet fellow classmates, take on side quests, and defeat the evil Ranrok. There is no multiplayer Quidditch experience either, which is a shame for fans of Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup back in the PS2/GameCube era. At least we can get on a broom to roam the grounds.
Despite the lack of a multiplayer mode, people who buy the physical version of Hogwarts Legacy will still need to download the Day One patch, according to the official FAQ for the game.
- Despite Hogwarts having a standard uniform, you can change outfits in the game.
Does Hogwarts Legacy Have A Morality System?
With the game being single-player only like Mass Effect and Dragon Age, some players may expect a morality system within Hogwarts Legacy. Unfortunately, that is too not the case. While there are some evil spells to unlock like the killing curse, the official FAQ says that morality is not a factor. Instead, it says that “players will encounter various quests and storylines that will influence the witch or wizard they choose to become.”
