PlayStation Now has been around for a few months, but many have complained that the subscription side to the service is a little expensive. There are options to buy more months in bulk and save a few dollars doing so.
At the moment a month’s subscription in North America will set you back $19.99, while a three-month package will cost you $44.99, which is roughly $15 a month. However, a recently listed – and quickly removed – listing for 12 months subscription seems to indicate that Sony will offer even more value if you buy a year’s worth of the service in one go.
Priced at $99.99, the service would effectively cost you $8.30 every month. Not bad, is it? When you consider that Netflix costs $7.99 a month, $8.30 for all-you-can eat gaming doesn’t seem so bad. However, the catch is that you have to stump up $100 up-front in order to save, which we’re not really sure is the best way to go about gaining customers to the under-rated service.
Would you be inclined to pay $100 for 12 months of PS Now, or would you prefer to have the option to, you know, just pay $8-a-month as and when you want it? Let us know down in the comments section below.
Special shoutout to N4G user ItsJustEmman for bringing this to our attention. Cheers lad.
