Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is bringing in all sorts of cash for publisher Konami. There’s the first chunk from the game itself, and then there are the ridiculous microtransactions and insurance policies that players can take out. There’s also an official soundtrack, too. But now there’s an extended edition soundtrack that’s coming during the back end of this month.
If you’ve purchased your original soundtrack already, you’ll need to re-buy the “extended soundtrack” to get the complete form. It’s not unusual, really, as even the great and powerful Brandon Flowers releases multiple editions of his solo albums.
The extended soundtrack will include 114 tracks, releases on December 23rd, will set you back ¥2700 (~£15/$22), and will only be available digitally.
However, we strongly recommend getting your hands on The Killers’ latest Christmas song, Dirt Sledding, instead. All proceeds go to charity, and not a penny goes to Konami.
