Kingdom Hearts is a franchise that needs no introduction, so when Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts 3 would be releasing in the near future, all the fans went mental. Your scribe here doesn’t really see the attraction of it, but some of our other Cabineers enthusiastically swear by the series.
The game doesn’t have a release date as of yet, but that hasn’t stopped retailers taking pre-orders for it. Target in North America has been letting people register their interest for a while now and have even let people order it, though there’s no payment taken until the game ships. In an email being sent out to those who have ordered the game, Target makes note of a new expected delivery period which sits between January 26th and February 11th of this year.
Considering that’s only a few weeks away, and that Square Enix hasn’t gouged all the special editions they can, we’re not entirely confident we’ll see the game before the snow starts melting. Still, there’s hope. Isn’t there? Probably not…
