A blast from the past is making its way onto Mac and Linux PC’s this week: Medieval II: Total War Collection. Initially released way back in 2006 for Windows, the game has now been ported to the Mac and Linux operating systems.
The game has been ported by Feral Interactive, a development studio dedicated to porting games to Mac and Linux, so it’s fair to say they probably know what they’re doing.
“We’re delighted to bringing one the best-loved Total War games to Mac and Linux,” said David Stephen, Managing Director of Feral Interactive, “Medieval II: Total War Collection is a bona fide strategy classic and our most-requested port.”
Medieval II: Total War Collection retails for US $24.99/£18.99/€22,99 on Steam, the Feral Store and other third-party stores. Medieval II: Total War and Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms are also available separately via Steam and retail for US $19.99/£14.99/€19,99 and US $11.99/£8.99/€11,99 respectively.
So, when’s it coming out? January 14th. That’s this Thursday. War cry!
