Bethesda have announced Doom’s release date is May 13. Coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on the same date, a ‘collector’s edition’ has also been revealed alongside the announcement of the release date.
Priced at $120, the ‘collector’s edition’ is set to include a 12” statute of the Revenant, one of the game’s demon, along with the main game, all packaged in an exclusive metal case.
Pre-ordering either the standard or collector’s edition will also net you a number of bonuses. First off you’ll get the Demon Multiplayer Pack, containing “a unique demon armor set with three skin variations, six metallic paint colors,” as well as three Id logos that can be applied to weapons and armor. On top of that, you’ll also get six “Hack Modules” which are one-time use items that will provide you with an edge in multiplayer.
If you’re looking to pre-order, remember Amazon is currently running a 20% discount on new games for Prime subscribers including Doom, making it the cheapest offer we’ve seen for the game so far.
