PlayStation VR is the hot topic this week as Sony recently announced the release window and pricing for the next-gen headgear. Pre-order pages have been popping up here and there across the internet since the initial price announcement, but one major player in the gaming space was missing: UK video-game retailer GAME.
The high street chain has stated today in a joint statement with Sony that players can pre-order their PlayStation VR kits in-store or via the retailer’s website, game.co.uk.
GAME’s Charlotte Knight stated the following:
“We are incredibly excited to partner with Sony to bring this innovative technology to the UK market and deliver the ground breaking PlayStation VR to our customers. It’s yet another way in which we are making GAME the best place to discover innovations in gaming whilst delivering an amazing experience for our community of gamers.
“Whether for yourself or as a Christmas present, we’re sure the PlayStation VR will be in high demand – so get it while you can!”
In the UK the PlayStation VR headset will set you back around £349.99. Units are still available to pre-order via Amazon.co.uk, too.
