Did you ever get around to playing Deadlight on the Xbox 360 or PC? No? Can’t remember? We don’t blame you actually; the game released back in 2012, so it’s basically ancient by the standards set in gaming.
However, the game is making something of a comeback. The game’s new publisher, Deep Silver, announced today with a fancy trailer that there’s to be Dead: Director’s Cut for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The reworked version of the game is described as the “definitive” edition with improved gameplay, graphics and modes. It looks alright, actually, but that’ just us judging the trailer which is embedded down below.
Deadlight first released back in 2012 for the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows and was published by Microsoft. The game was critically acclaimed upon release, though don’t bother looking for our review as The Games Cabin was still just a wishful idea at that point…
Deadlight: Director’s Cut will release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC this June 21st. No word yet on pre-orders or bonuses, though we imagine there’s something in the works.
