Is Gleeok in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? The classic Zelda enemy might be making a re-appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, if the latest trailer is anything to go by. Here’s all we know so far about Gleeok in Tears of the Kingdom.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Who is Gleeok?
Gleeok is an enemy from the original Legend of Zelda title. It’s a recurring boss, and it’s a dragon with three heads. Players could chop off their heads, then they would float around the arena shooting fire until the boss is defeated.
Gleeok later returned in Oracle of Seasons and Phantom Hourglass, but in those games, it only had two heads instead of three. In Phantom Hourglass, it would shoot fire with one head and ice with another.
Now, it looks like Gleeok is finally returning to the Zelda series in Tears of the Kingdom. We don’t have total confirmation, but it seems pretty likely after the release of the third and final trailer for the game.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: What do we know about Gleeok?
At the end of the third trailer for Tears of the Kingdom, we see a glimpse of a large three-headed dragon. The shot in the trailer seems to be building it up as some kind of boss fight, with Link charging into battle towards it.
This version of Gleeok, if that’s indeed what this creature is, seems to be a fiery version similar to the original. Of course, it looks a lot more impressive now than it did back then.
The new Gleeok has one large eyeball for each head, and fire seems to be emanating from the back of each head. It’s also possible there might be ice or other new versions of Gleeok, similar to how enemies like the Wizzrobes have different elemental versions. We’ll have to wait and see on May 12th!
