How To Get Sugar in New World?
Sugar is a key ingredient in many cooking recipes in New World. Unfortunately, Sugar is very scarce in New World and hard to come by. So much so that many players are left wondering Where can I get Sugar?
Sugar exclusively comes from Provisions Crates and Provisions Stockpiles. In each of these chests, you can get 3-4 Sugar. Provision crates have a 60 minute respawn timer, so remember this when you are planning your farming routes. Sugar will only appear in provisions in Windsward, Ebonscale Reach, and Reekwater.
Where is Sugar in New World?
Since Sugar is only available in Windsward, Ebonscale Reach, and Reekwater, you will need to go to those regions specifically to find it. In the following section, we show the best paths to follow to loot all the provision crates you can.
Windsward – Where to Get Sugar in New World
Windsward has provisions crates that yield Sugar and Coconut, among other meals and recipes including milk. There are not very many spawns of these crates in Windsward, but if you head west of the settlement you can hit 6 crates fairly quickly, and another 4 east of the town. In the north-east corner of the region you could also hit those 5 crates.
Ebonscale Reach – Where to Get Sugar in New World
Ebonscale Reach has provisions crates that yield Sugar and String Beans, among other meals and recipes including milk. Two possibilities here. You can travel south to the fast travel shrine and hit the crates in the mountains, then head off to the island to the west.
The second and more friendly route is to head east of town and follow the path we’ve outlined below, hitting each cluster of provision crates along the way.
Reekwater – Where to Get Sugar in New World
Reekwater has provisions crates that yield Sugar, Apple and String Bean, among other meals and recipes including milk. The main area you will want to focus on is south-east from town, around Siren’s Stand. Hit this area for the most crates. There is also a cluster of 5 crates on the western boarder, which is also not too far from town.
