Dark Souls II was recently announced by Namco Bandai, but much to the dismay of Nintendo fans, it was only confirmed for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, leaving the Wii U players out in the cold.
Well now the fans are fighting back with an online petition to try to convince Namco Bandai and the developer of the Dark Souls series – From Software – to port the sequel over to the Wii U.
At the time of writing, the online petition has just under 4000 signatures, a small number, but one that will hopefully grow over the next few hours.
It may seem a bit pointless to some, but it’s worth mentioning that a similar petition was going around when the original Dark Souls released to get a PC version, and surprisingly it worked. So maybe there is hope yet for a Wii U version of Dark Souls II being released.
If you are a Wii U owner, or just a considerate gamer, then you can add your name to the online petition here and help Dark Souls II bring some horror to the family console.
Because sometimes, Mario just doesn’t cut it.
Will you be adding your name? Should Dark Souls II get a release on the Wii U? Let us know in the comments below.
