What’s changed with the latest V Rising Patch notes 0.5.41821
The file size of the patch is quite small and it is not a forced patch. So Steam will install it in seconds as soon as you launch it. Version 0.5.41821 comes with the following changes:
- Map and the minimap received improvements for servers that have a high number of castles.
- Added a new option “Confine Cursor to Window” that allows players to confine the mouse cursor to the window when the screen mode is Minimized/Fullscreen Window mode.
- A problem caused the lootable containers to get stuck and not to respawn. The team fixed this issue to allow stuck containers to respawn again.
- Optimized The Blood Essence Drain Modifier.
- Social Panel now displays all the active players on the server alongside their SteamIDs. In addition to this interface improvement, they also added a text chat muting option. And it will stay active between sessions as well.
- Players will not able to use the Social Panel to figure out the locations of other players on the server. Abusing the panel and using it as radar will not be possible anymore.
- Castle Hearts not counting as a floor type prevented getting floor bonuses for stations and workshops. Now they count as any other floor type, allowing players to match them with other floors and receive floor bonuses for workshops.
- The latest V Rising update also fixed the problem that causes some icons to disappear on the map.
- The new version offers a set of optimizations for V Rising servers with a high number of players and long starting-up times.
- Fixed a problem that prevented servants to return to the castle after completing a Hunt.
- Fixed an issue that allowed servants to open the doors of the enemy castle.
- Players will be able to summon their servants to their coffins even when they lock themselves outside the castle.
