Once again, a game is set to release and the developers are already gushing about the DLC they have ready to set upon their customers just days after the game releases. This time, it’s Crytek and their upcoming first-person shooter Crysis 3.
In a chat with CVG, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli spoke about content that would be released after the game has hit shelves, “We’re still exploring that. We have some plans in mind that we can’t disclose yet, but we are going to wait a little bit to see how the beta’s running and how the game does for the first few days. We do have a big plan to support it.”
So basically, the stuff they should have put in the main game, they’ve held it back in order to sell it to you later on, at stupidly priced prices. Come on, what did we all expect from a game published by EA? Lots of free stuff or even, dare I say it, value for money?
Crysis 3 is in stores tomorrow for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, if you haven’t pre-ordered, don’t worry, literally everywhere sells video games and you’d have to work hard to not get a copy of anything on release day.
Excited for another first-person shooter? Can’t wait to spend money on shiny guns and digital armour? Let us know in the comments.
