When you boot up your PlayStation 3 this morning to have a round of online multiplayer madness with Uncharted 3, or maybe you just like to watch some Spider-Man cartoons on Netflix, you’ll notice there’s an update available.
The system update bumps up the PlayStation 3’s firmware to version 4.40 and it’ll only take you a couple of minutes at most to download and apply the update, so it’s an improvement on previous updates, some of which were known to take around half an hour…
The new PlayStation 3 firmware improves system stability (whatever that means) and added support for an NFC reader, other than that, there’s not a lot else to say about this latest update, other than it’s quick and painless so you can get back to your gaming as soon as possible!
