A new trademark has been filed by publisher Square Enix, trademarking the title Lara Croft: Reflections.
The revelation comes thanks to AllGamesBeta who spotted the trademark, which could point to a number of things. It may be the title of the sequel to the well-received Tomb Raider reboot, or a series of short films, maybe even a movie, at this time, we just can’t know for sure.
The trademark was awarded March 15th to Square Enix’s UK division. You can have a look at the application down below:
In all honesty, I’ve no idea what it is, but I highly doubt it’s the title of the next game, it’d be a bad move to do away with the series’ identifying title, so maybe Lara Croft: Reflections is some other form of media, maybe even some DLC? It was revealed a couple of days ago that there’s no plans at the moment to bring out any single player DLC, but with the multiplayer component not being met with as much enthusiasm as was previously hoped, maybe Square Enix are pushing to get some single player content out there.
We’ve sent an email to Square Enix asking for more info, but our pockets aren’t deep enough to pay for the right to exclusive news, reviews or previews, unlike some who do… (When we’re millionaires, we’re totally getting on that train though!)
