Heads up folks, there’s a new adventure set to invade your PlayStation 3 and PS Vita later this month.
Dragon Fantasy will be releasing sometime later this month for both the PS3 and PS Vita, ahead Dragon Fantasy: Book II which is due to release later this year.
Adam Rippon, the series creator recently took some time to chat with the guys over at Destructoid and revealed that Dragon Fantasy was being ported for the PlayStation machines alongside the ongoing development of Dragon Fantasy: Book II. It’s not just a copy and paste port either, there’s a few extra features packed into the remake.
You’ll be able to enjoy the hugely convenient cross-save feature as well as saving a few pennies by being able to cross-buy the game, so if you buy it for the PlayStation 3 you’ll be able to download the PS Vita version for absolutely diddly-squat, making it even more appealing to your average thrifty gamer and those just looking after their bank balance. With the PlayStation 4 looming around the corner I’m scrambling every penny into my savings, maybe you should too! (Unless you’re mega rich of course, and if that’s the case, want to pay our server bills?)
Just in case you’re not sure on what Dragon Fantasy is, let me fill you in. Dragon Fantasy is a retro-style 8-bit RPG that just oozes in humour. It’s been available on the PC, Mac and iOS devices for a while now, so if you’re tempted to get involved before making the full purchase on your PlayStation device, it may be worth checking it out.
If you’re still not convinced, check out the trailer below and see what you think of it.
