Good news Wii U owners, you’ll be getting Splinter Cell: Blacklist later this year, August to be precise.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist marks a return to form for Sam Fisher, but with a few changes. Instead of being voiced by fan favourite Michael Ironside, Sam’s getting a new set of vocal cords courtesy of Eric Johnson. As well as getting some new vocals, Sam seems to have de-aged a few years and gained some new moves, as seen in recent gameplay video’s and developer diaries.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist offers some new ways to play instead of sneaking around all stealthy and what not, you’re able to go in all guns blazing and engage in some cover-based combat. Yeah, doesn’t really sound like the Splinter Cell we used to know, but we’ll reserve judgement until we’ve had some time with the game.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is set to release on the Wii U on August 20th in North America, August 22nd for Europe and the next day for the UK on August 23rd.
