Rayman Origins, originally a Wii U exclusive that was delayed until later this year to get a release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, finally has a solid release date.
The limbless wonder will be jumping, spinning, slapping and kicking it old-school on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U later on August 30th of this year.
The long delay from the original February launch date has meant that the developers have been able to add more content to the final product, so it’s not all bad. Yeah, you’ll have to wait a little longer to get your hands on the game, but on the other hand, you’ll be getting a lot more for your money.
Also, Wii U owners are getting a nice little treat way ahead of Rayman Origins release. The Rayman Legends Challenges app is now free to download from the eShop, so there’s a nice bonus for you. Each week the app will be updated with new challenges to go for, so it should keep you busy until Rayman Origins lands in August.
