UK retailer Tesco has been at it again with another leak, this time providing some details on Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The product description for the next installment in the Call of Duty series gives some clues as to how the game will play and teases an “all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast” will be featured in Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The product description reads:
“The franchise that has defined a generation of gaming is set to raise the bar once again with the all-new Call of Duty®: Ghosts. Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and the seminal Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® series, Call of Duty: Ghosts ushers in the next generation of the franchise, delivering a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast, all powered by a new next-generation Call of Duty engine.”
Although we’ve no official statements being made by Infinity Ward or publisher Activision, this pretty much confirms that Call of Duty: Ghosts is the next game and will feature a new engine, something fans and critics have been crying out for.
According to various retailers Call of Duty: Ghosts is coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. No retailer has yet listed the title for the PlayStation 4 or Next Xbox, though we think it’s a fair bet to say we’ll see Call of Duty: Ghosts released on the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Next Xbox.
