DICE’s Battlefield 4 is certainly shaping up to be a hit when it launches, and has the real possibility of throwing a big shadow over its closest competitor, Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The latest snippet shows off the impressive visuals and effects that are all present in the next-gen versions of the game via about 5 minutes of gameplay.
Check out the footage embedded down below and see what you think.
Looking great right? It’s hard not to point the finger at Activision after seeing footage like this, especially since their age-old go-to excuse that Call of Duty runs at 60 frames-per-seconds is no longer valid as Battlefield 4 is running at 60 fps on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as boasting huge 64 person online multiplayer games and still manages to shine out impressive visuals.
As much as we all say that we are sick of first-person shooters, those who have never played an online shooter on the PC will have their minds blown by the sheer amount of players in one game, something that could refresh interest in the genre.
