What Is The Temtem Tamer Pass?
The Temtem Tamer Pass is very similar to what you see from a battle pass in games like Fortnite and Apex Legends. It’s just a bit cuter than these aforementioned titles, but we would expect this model from a free-to-play game rather than a fully priced title like this. However, to get back on topic, the Tamer Pass is a microtransactional option that lets you collect exclusive rewards for your efforts in the game.
The Temtem Tamer Pass is split up into two models. The first is the free option, which gives you a handful of items over the course of the season. Meanwhile, there’s a premium option that provides 60 different items as you proceed to Level 60. Of course, premium purchasers will gain free rewards as well.
You can indeed get some cool stuff for free. For example, you can get a backpack shaped like a doughnut and a “Victory is Mine” victory pose. However, the paid option gives you a ton of sweet items including Harlequin bottoms, a Sparzy helmet, and Disco Inferno flooring for your home. We wish there were some cosmetic items for your Temtem as well though.

To gain access to the premium version of the Temtem Tamer Pass, you’ll need to pay 750 Novas. It costs around £5, but you’ll need to pay the game around £8 for 1,100 Novas as the shop doesn’t offer only the required amount.
There are a few things to keep in mind about the Temtem tamer pass, however. Firstly, you’ll be able to earn enough Novas in one season’s pass to gain the next if it’s fully completed. Second, you may be able to gain 750 Novas by just playing the game. Also, the developer of Temtem, Crema, has confirmed that your Novas will never expire.
You may also want to keep in mind that your Novas won’t be transferable between systems, despite Temtem being cross-platform.
