Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Unity has been delayed, pushing the title back from its October release date to early November.
It’s not a huge delay, only two weeks of extra waiting… The French publisher has delayed the title to allow a bit more time for some extra spit-and polish, though they also confirmed that there will be a day-one patch to download and install. As long as everything runs smoothly, we won’t have too many complaints, though going by Ubisoft’s recent history there’s not a lot of hope for such smooth sailing…
Assassin’s Creed Unity will now be launching on November 11th in North America and November 13th for the UK and its European neighbours.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is the first ‘true’ next-gen Assassin’s Creed title in the series with it being developed exclusively for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
PS3 and Xbox 360 players will still get an Assassin’s Creed title this year in the form of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue.
