How To Unlock Weapons Early
Although players will generally want to unlock each weapon in Splatoon 3 through a natural progression, there are two methods for bypassing the level requirements. The first is to simply spend more Sheldon Licenses; by parting with three Sheldon Licenses, players can unlock any weapon regardless of level.
In addition, players will receive three Gold Sheldon Licenses if they have Splatoon 2 save data on the Switch they are playing Splatoon 3 on. One Gold Sheldon License effectively functions the same as three regular Sheldon Licenses, giving the user access to any weapon regardless of level.
