Ubisoft has released a brand new gameplay trailer showing off the improved naval combat in Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, as well as some gameplay within the Arctic.
Naval combat has without a doubt been one of the most popular features added to the Assassin’s Creed series, it featured heavily in Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It looks like the next-gen installment in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed: Unity won’t feature the naval combat that has come to be adored by fans of the series, so if you want your fix of swashbuckling action then you’ll have to take the plunge with AC: Rogue.
Check out the gameplay trailer down below, it runs for around 9 minutes, so there’s plenty to see.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will be releasing on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 11th, the same day as the release of Assassin’s Creed: Unity for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue hasn’t been confirmed for a next-gen or PC release at this point, but our guess is that Ubisoft will most likely release the title for the next-gen consoles as well as the PC sometime down the line as they did with the original PS Vita release of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation.
Has the trailer got you ready for more pirate adventures? Or will you be skulking in the shadows of Paris with Unity? Sneak down below to post a comment.
