Corpses on a corpse?
There’s speculation that Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations 2 may be getting a release on Sony’s under-appreciated handheld console, the PS Vita.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has already been confirmed for the Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, but there’s a chance we’ll be able to get our zombie-horror fix on the go. Sony’s promo site for this years Tokyo Game Show listed the title under the handheld section, but it has been taken down. Whether this is because the listing was an error, or Capcom and Sony wanted to keep it under wraps and save it as a big reveal, we’ll have to wait and see.
The PS Vita has had an horrendous few months with Sony seemingly losing the ability to market the product as well as stating that owners of the powerful device shouldn’t expect any more first-party games from the firm but instead be happy with the influx of indie titles. Whilst the majority of indie games are fantastic, they’re not what we were promised when Sony released the Vita. We want more Uncharted damn it!
Would you be up for the ride if Resident Evil: Revelations 2 got released on the PS Vita? Or will you be sticking to the consoles for your horror fix? Let us know down in the comments section below.
