We’ve decided that as part of our service to you, we’re going to give you the low-down on the latest gaming deals from Amazon each and every day, hopefully saving you some cash on your consoles and games.
We know that this hobby of ours can be expensive, so here’s some deals to get you started. This post will be focusing on the PS4 and Xbox One, so if you’re in the market for a console or some new games, direct your peepers south.
PS4 Consoles
PS4 Base Console – no games, just the controller and cables. £328.99. You can still keep the price under £350 if you trade in your old games and consoles towards some games.
PS4 Console with Call of Duty Ghosts & PS+ 90 Days membership – £369.99. A bit more expensive than the base console, but you do get a game and three months of PS+.
PS4 Games
The Last of Us: Remastered – £29.86. An absolute steal for what you get. Released for around £40, now you can get it for a tenner less but with more content. No brainer.
Call of Duty: Ghosts – £31. A decent shooter and the first next-gen Call of Duty game. Online is hectic fun so get in on that in preparation for Advanced Warfare.
inFamous: Second Son – £27.99. No PS4 owner should have any reason not to have the third installment in the inFamous series, it’s cracking fun and you’ll be hard pressed to find an open-world game so open.
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition – £22.99. Absolute steal at this price. Highly praised when it released on the PS3 and Xbox 360, it’s even better on the PS4 with more detailed environments, higher textures and an all round better package.
Metro Redux – £27.99. For one price you’re getting two top-notch atmospheric shooters. Not your typical military cliché either, these are thoughtful and at times frightening. Worth a look if you missed out on the last-gen release.
Xbox One Consoles
Xbox One Console with FIFA 15 – £329.99. I cannot stress enough how much of a good deal this is. You’re basically getting FIFA 15 for free, because you can get the console on its own for less than the above price. If you’re planning on getting an Xbox One and FIFA 15, this is the deal for you.
Xbox One Console – £323.99. You don’t get any games, but you get all the leads and cables needed. Same as with the PS4, trade in your old gear towards new games and you’ll easily get yourself the consoles and a few games for less than £350.
White Xbox One Console with Sunset Overdrive – £329.99. Pretty much the same deal as the Xbox One with FIFA 15, but with Insomniac’s Sunset Overdrive. Ideal if you’re not into footy games and want something fresh. Plus it’s white. Nice!
Xbox One Games
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor – £37.00. Nearly a whole five quid cheaper than the PS4 version, but it’s exactly the same game. It’s not bad either. We’re in the middle of reviewing it and not to ruin anything, but it’s AWESOME! Excitement contained. Breathe, breathe.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection – £44.00. It’s not out until November 14th, but if you want your copy through your mail box on release day, order from Amazon and they’ll do that for you. You get 4 games plus access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta. Wicked.
Call of Duty: Ghosts – £17.98. Extremely cheap price. Any fan of the series should be picking this up without thinking at this price. Stop thinking. Buy it. Stop thinking.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – £24.99. Not a bad price for the higher quality version. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions were good, but the power of the next-gen machines really showed off the Caribbean like never before in a game. Plus you play as a pirate-assassin. What’s not to like?
Xbox Live 12 Month Gold Membership – £29.86. A necessity if you want to get the most out of your Xbox One and Xbox 360. Slightly cheaper than the RRP, so get online for a lower price.
