There’s a new bundle available for Super Smash Bros. Wii U, packing in everything you need to get started into one tidy little bundle.
The Super Smash Bros. Wii U controller bundle will be available from December 31st according to online retailer Amazon and will contain the game, a GameCube controller and an adapter to allow you to play the game with the aforementioned controller.
After playing my fair share of Wii U games, I can tell you now that the Wii U GamePad isn’t the most comfortable to peripheral. It’s not bad and it definitely does the job, especially with its off-screen play, but classic fighters like Super Smash Bros. require a bit of finesse, something you’re more likely to achieve using the GameCube controller.
The price? It’s a bit on pricey side at $99, but still not totally unreasonable considering what you get. It’s worth noting that the release date may not be final and could change, but if it does we’ll let you know.
Looking forward to Super Smash Bros. Wii U? Will you be getting your game on with the GameCube controller or do you find the Wii U’s gamepad to be comfortable enough? Let us know down in the comments section below.
