The war rages on…
Some customers are up in arms over Microsoft’s Xbox One bundle which includes a copy of FIFA 15. The problem is that it’s not made explicitly clear that players will have to redeem an online code and download their copy of FIFA 15, rather than just place a disc in the tray and get on with it.
Over on Amazon UK the Xbox One with FIFA 15 bundle is getting some torrid reviews, not because the console isn’t what was expected or that FIFA 15 is rubbish, but because people have to download their 12GB game, and that’s after the initial set up of the console and it’s updates.
Sony has responded by allowing UK supermarket chain Tesco to sell the PS4 bundled with FIFA 15 for the same price, but with one major difference; the game is a physical copy that you can lick with your own tongue. It’s a smart move by the platform holder and once again shows that Sony is constantly on the lookout for opportunities to one-up their competitor.
Did you buy the Xbox One with FIFA 15 bundle? Did the lengthy download do your head in? Or did you just sit back, grab a magazine and wait patiently? Let us know down in the comments section below.
